Six Flags Over Texas delivers holiday thrills featuring world-class coasters and rides the entire family can enjoy together. Most of our most popular rides are open during Holiday in the Park so get ready to let loose and laugh or scream with your family and friends.

Boomtown Depot

Take it slow for a change and ride through a magical wonderland on the SantaLand Express powered by our 107-year-old Charles Jefferson Patton steam locomotive.

Crazy Legs

You’ll be flying every which way, much like Santa and those nutty reindeer, on this gondola ride.

Cloud Bouncer

Step into your very own hot air balloon and fly through the air on your way to the North Pole! Be sure to look around you on your journey and take in the beautiful holiday lights.

Dive Bomber Alley

Dive head first into the holiday spirit on this adrenaline- fueled attraction. You’ll be screaming “Happy Holidays’ for weeks after this 15-story plunge. Additional fee required.

El Sombrero

No need for a Santa hat when you have this one laying around. You’ll spin, twirl, and tilt on over to Santa’s workshop, laughing all the way.

The Frosty Snowhill

Enjoy the thrilling sensation of racing down a hill made of SNOW! Santa and his elves have one just like it in the North Pole!

Judge Roy Scream

Fly along at speeds of 45 mph on this awe-inspiring classic wooden roller coaster. Check your reflection in the lake and you just might catch Santa flying right beside you!

La Fiesta de las Tazas

This Christmas season, Las Tazas have a special gift for you! The gift of spinning! If you spin fast enough you might even find yourself transported to the North Pole!

La Vibora

Santa’s elves have requested that he install this free-wheeling, fast-moving bobsled in their workshop to easily and quickly transport toys to the sleigh–no word on if he has agreed yet though.

Mini Mine Train

The whole family will enjoy this smaller version of the Runaway Mine Train. Make sure to scream “Happy Holidays” throughout the ride and Santa will surely hear you and send you a very merry Christmas!

On this ride you will fly 5 stories up in the crisp winter air. Don’t be surprised if you hear Ole St. Nick’s famous laugh beside you, he thinks this one is a hoot!

Journey back and see how the old west celebrated the holidays on this classic roller coaster.

Rudolph says that wrangling these ornery bulls taught him how to lead Santa’s sleigh through even the fiercest snow storm. Saddle up and don’t forget to hang on for dear life!

Runaway Mountain

Not even the million lights of Holiday in the Park can penetrate the darkness of the mountain, but finishing the journey will no doubt place your name on the Santa’s Nice List for life!

Two merry loops and pure holiday joy are in store for riders on this coaster. The world’s tallest when it opened, this awe-inspiring ride has always been one of Santa’s favorites.

Get your atoms scrambled on The Sidewinder — this classic “scrambler” ride whips you inside — out like a mean short-order cook.

Silver Star Carousel

Mr. and Mrs. Claus are huge fans of this ever-charming carousel featuring lovingly-restored horses from the turn of the century.

The mad dash to the Christmas tree on Christmas morning is nothing compared to this high-speed Go Kart race. Do you have what it takes to come in first place? Additional fee required.

Speedy Gonzales’ Trucking Across America

Hop into your very own mini 18-wheeler and join your fellow truckers on a journey across the good old U.S. of A.; this time of year a pit stop at the North Pole might even be in order.

SUPERMAN: Tower of Power

Shoot into the sky just like SUPERMAN and enjoy the views Santa and his reindeer enjoy on their annual journey around the world.

It’s up, up and away on this pint-sized Ferris wheel specially designed with Six Flags Over Texas’ youngest visitors in mind.

All aboard the SantaLand Express! Take in the splendor that is Holiday in the Park on your way to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus! Just be sure to check for your name on the nice list before you step on board!

The New Texas Giant

Joy to the world, it’s time to ride this classic wooden coaster which now features a state-of-the-art steel track and the steepest drop of any wooden coaster in the world!

Texas SkyScreamer

Up to 24 guests can board the ride and sit in open-air swings as they climb to the top of the tower while spinning round and round. At full swing, you’ll soar in a 124-foot circle above the enchanting Christmas lights of Holiday in the Park at speeds of 35 miles per hour.

Tis’ the season to take on Titan. Take on the twisted track of this steel behemoth at 85 mph, with a stunning 255-foot drop. Keep your eyes peeled, from that height you may even see Santa flying his sleigh!

Wile Coyote’s Grand Canyon Blaster

Parents and kids alike will love racing along on that rascally varmint Wile E. Coyote’s steel roller coaster. Don’t be surprised if you see some of Santa’s elves sitting next to you, it’s one of their favorites!

Yosemite Sam’s Texas Tea cups

A hot cup of Texas tea —as in oil — is just what Santa needs for his journey around the world. Pour your family into a few barrels of light sweet crude and corner the market on fun — Yosemite Sam style.

Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas is truly the most wonderful time of year! From our festive shows to extravagantly decorated Christmas trees, Santa’s Workshop and Ole Saint Nick himself, holiday fun is around every corner.

The whole family can relish in the joy of this wonderful season with a ride on hill made of snow, time spent with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and an opportunity to meet Rudolph and his reindeer friends. This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to provide you and your family with long-lasting memories they will cherish for years to come!


Holiday Tree of Trees Light Spectacular

Towering nearly 60 feet over the Star Mall, 70 Christmas tress trimmed with ten of thousands of lights, dance magically with computerized precision. Choreographed to majestic holiday scores, the Holiday Tree of Trees will become a must-see family tradition.

A Personal Visit to Santa's Workshop

A Jolly Holiday

This closing holiday show features 25 performers. A Jolly Holiday will send you home with a little holiday in your heart and, just maybe, a little snow in your hair. *Occurs nightly 15 minutes prior to park closing.

Reindeer Holi-Daze Dance Party

Fa-La-La-La Light Show

Embrace the magic of the season as thousands of lights surround you in a choreographed light show to sensational hits from the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Tree Lighting Ceremony with Santa Claus

Santa Claus brings the Holiday Tree of Trees to life during this memorable tree lighting spectacular event. *Occurs nightly at 6:30 p.m. (Runs through December 23.)

Storytime with Mrs. Claus

SantaLand Express

(Departs from Texas Depot) Begin the journey on a magical ride aboard a 100 year-old locomotive into SantaLand. *Open until one hour before park closing.
